Our Policy

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with PlayMomento, including luxury soft play experiences, backdrop installations, event styling services, and any associated add-ons.

1. Bookings & Payments
  • All bookings require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure the event date.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date.
  • Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.
 2. Cancellations by the Customer
  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • The date the cancellation email is received will be treated as the official cancellation date.
  • Cancellation terms apply equally to soft play bookings and backdrop or styling-only installations.
 Refunds are applied as follows:
  • More than 14 days before the event: deposit retained, any additional payments refunded.
  • 14 days or less before the event: no refunds, including deposit and any balance paid.
  • Within 48 hours of the event: no refunds or credits under any circumstances.
 Deposits are non-refundable in all situations.  3. Date Changes & Transfers
  • Date changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
  • One date transfer may be offered at PlayMomento’s discretion if requested more than 14 days before the event.
  • A £25 administration fee may apply.
  • Deposits cannot be transferred to another client or event type.
  4. Cancellations by PlayMomento
  • In the unlikely event that PlayMomento must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, emergency, or events beyond our control), a full refund will be issued.
  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 working days.
  • PlayMomento’s liability is limited to the total amount paid.
  5. Event Requirements & Safety
  • Adequate space must be available for the chosen package.
  • A clear, level area must be provided for safe setup.
  • Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
  • PlayMomento accepts no responsibility for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring guests do not interfere with, climb on, or misuse backdrops, balloon installations or styling structures.
 6. Outdoor Bookings & Weather
  • Outdoor bookings proceed unless weather conditions are unsafe.
  • Weather-related cancellations by the customer are treated as standard cancellations.
  • PlayMomento reserves the right to cancel or adapt setups if conditions pose a safety risk.
  • Outdoor styling installations are subject to the same weather, surface and safety considerations and may be adjusted or cancelled where conditions are unsuitable.
  7. Access & Setup
  • Safe and reasonable access must be provided at the agreed setup time.
  • Delays caused by access issues may reduce hire time without refund.
  • Access time requirements apply to both play and styling.
  • Delays due to access may reduce setup time without refund
  8. Photography & Marketing
  • We may take photographs of our setups for marketing purposes.
  • No identifiable images of children will be used without prior consent.
  • This may include photographs of styled backdrops and installations.
 9. Damage & Loss
  • The client is responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required due to misuse.
  • Additional charges may apply.
  10. Governing Law
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
